I spent the better part of two decades building a career in finance. I was good at it. And then — three times — the rug got pulled. Redundancy is one of those experiences that forces you to ask uncomfortable questions about where value actually comes from, and whether the structures you trusted will hold.

During one of those periods, I came across platforms paying people to help train AI models. Not as a tech expert. Not as an engineer. Just as someone with domain knowledge, judgement, and the ability to think clearly. I was sceptical. Then I signed up. Then I got paid.

I also co-founded a tech start-up, which gave me a front-row seat to how fast AI is moving and how much human input it still needs. The models being built today are hungry for real-world expertise — finance, law, medicine, education, life experience. That is the opportunity most people are walking past.

I built Human Intelligence Agency because I kept having the same conversation with people around me — friends between jobs, a retired colleague, a student wondering how to earn around lectures. The information existed, but nobody had put it in plain English and pointed them at the door. That is what this site is.
